Wie füge ich ein iCloud-Album hinzu?

  1. Öffne die Einstellungen (tippe auf den Bildschirm, dann auf das Zahnrad)
  2. Gehe zu "Quellen verwalten"
  3. Tippe auf "iCloud Album hinzufügen"
  4. Lade die verfügbaren Alben und wähle dein gewünschtes Album aus
  5. Gib einen Namen ein und tippe auf "Hinzufügen"

Wie verbinde ich einen Samba/NAS-Server?

  1. Öffne die Einstellungen
  2. Gehe zu "Quellen verwalten"
  3. Tippe auf "Samba Share hinzufügen"
  4. Gib die Server-Adresse (z.B. 192.168.1.100), Share-Name, Benutzername und Passwort ein
  5. Tippe auf "Hinzufügen"

Bilder werden nicht angezeigt

Überprüfe folgendes:

  • Ist mindestens eine Quelle aktiviert?
  • Hast du der App Zugriff auf deine Fotos erlaubt? (iOS Einstellungen → Picture Frame Mate → Fotos)
  • Bei Samba: Sind die Zugangsdaten korrekt?
  • Bei iCloud: Enthält das Album Fotos?

Wie funktioniert der Nachtmodus?

Der Nachtmodus dimmt den Bildschirm oder schaltet ihn komplett aus:

  • Sonnenauf-/-untergang: Nutzt deinen Standort für automatische Zeiten
  • Benutzerdefinierte Zeit: Wähle Start- und Endzeit manuell
  • Abdunkeln: Reduziert die Helligkeit
  • Schwarzer Bildschirm: Schaltet die Anzeige komplett aus

Kann ich mehrere Quellen gleichzeitig nutzen?

Ja! Du kannst beliebig viele iCloud-Alben und Samba-Shares hinzufügen. Die App mischt die Bilder aus allen aktiven Quellen intelligent.

Das iPad schaltet sich automatisch aus

Die App verhindert automatisch den Auto-Lock, solange sie läuft. Falls das Problem weiterhin besteht, überprüfe die iOS-Einstellungen unter "Anzeige & Helligkeit" → "Automatische Sperre".

How do I add an iCloud album?

  1. Open Settings (tap the screen, then tap the gear icon)
  2. Go to "Manage Sources"
  3. Tap "Add iCloud Album"
  4. Load available albums and select your desired album
  5. Enter a name and tap "Add"

How do I connect to a Samba/NAS server?

  1. Open Settings
  2. Go to "Manage Sources"
  3. Tap "Add Samba Share"
  4. Enter server address (e.g., 192.168.1.100), share name, username, and password
  5. Tap "Add"

Images are not displayed

Check the following:

  • Is at least one source enabled?
  • Did you grant the app access to your photos? (iOS Settings → Picture Frame Mate → Photos)
  • For Samba: Are the credentials correct?
  • For iCloud: Does the album contain photos?

How does Night Mode work?

Night Mode dims the screen or turns it completely off:

  • Sunset to Sunrise: Uses your location for automatic times
  • Custom Time: Choose start and end times manually
  • Dim: Reduces brightness
  • Black Screen: Turns the display completely off

Can I use multiple sources simultaneously?

Yes! You can add as many iCloud albums and Samba shares as you like. The app intelligently mixes images from all active sources.

The iPad turns off automatically

The app automatically prevents auto-lock while running. If the problem persists, check iOS Settings under "Display & Brightness" → "Auto-Lock".
